Coffee Beans:
As I stated in my "April Brewed - Coffees Consumed, Games Played" post yesterday, I played some GoldenEye 007 online multi-player with Robert(fellow reader), and Keith from RespawnAction.com, during April.
The video below is of a match Keith and I played on the Nightclub map, and it was a Team Conflict match:
Filtered Thoughts:
While our team lost the match, I thought there was a very interesting sniping spot I saw during the match.
If you have played the Nightclub map, you may have been wondering in the video how I kept being killed by CJ on the main stairs in the level, starting around the 5 Minutes 24 Second mark in the video. I believe I was killed near/on the stairs, three times by him; and another teammate was killed by him at least once in the area as well.
It wasn't until the very end of the video, around the 7:50 mark, that I found him. He was in a spot, just kneeling down, and sniping away! It was definitely a great spot for sniping, so if you're looking for a spot to snipe from on Nightclub, I suggest the spot CJ was using. Hopefully, the images below will show you the spots in the video I am talking about a little better:

Sweet sniping spot. |
I still enjoy GoldenEye 007's online multi-player, and if you just recently purchased the game, or have it and are looking for others to play online with, feel free to add my friend code to your list: 2043-7355-3797.
If you do add me, make sure to contact me, or leave a comment with your friend code, and I'll add your code when I hop online.
Questions:
Have any of you been playing GoldenEye 007's multi-player modes recently? If so, do you have any nice sniping spots you would like to share with us?!
If anybody is interested in GoldenEye 007, you can see prices for the game on Amazon.com linked below:
Nice work, Coffee, as usual! I like your use of other people's weapons. :) CJ had it comin!
ReplyDeleteI frequented the multiplayer aspect of this game quite often, especially within the first few months of owning it. Wasn't expecting to play online at all, but it can be pretty addicting. And that's not to say that there are a few things I wish they would have done differently. But I still get on about once or twice a week, mainly to team up with my brother.
As for sniper spots, the one shown here is becoming more popular. I've found that if there are snipers in the night club, then they are most likely in that small seating area, on top of the sound equipment hanging from the ceiling, or the surrounding area. If I get picked off once or twice, then those are the first places I check.
I don't snipe much myself. I'm more of a run-and-gunner. Only when I'm getting mowed over and need to play it cool do I pull up my snipering loadout.

Haha! I was like, "Where is this guy!?!"

Same here. I'll snipe occasionally, but my ADHD(maybe it's the coffee!) doesn't like sitting still for very long.
Also, I recall from this match, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1H8dv8ObMo, you like explosives!
Thanks for the comment!

I think it might be the coffee/mtn. dew for me.
Hahaha! If you are referring to what happened around 1:13, that was my one moment of glory. The truth is, that "Jacquelyn" was causing me and my brother a lot of problems. For whatever reason she just had our numbers. And I forgot how close that game was too. That was a good match.
