Last September, I received a package in the mail from Majesco Entertainment. Inside the package was a copy of Greg Hastings Paintball 2, for the Wii. Filtered Thoughts
I finished the "Career Mode" in Greg Hastings Paintball 2 on March 30 this year, and I was really impressed by the amount of content in the game, so I decided to make video on it.
I started editing the video together last Thursday night, and what I thought would be a 2 day project, turned into basically a 7 day project.
As I said in the video, if anybody has any questions about Greg Hastings Paintball 2 on the Wii, that I didn't answer in the video, or previous posts; please leave a comment on this post with your question, or send an email to Scott(@)CoffeewithGames.com(remove the ( ) from around the @).
Also, if you liked the video, or didn't like something in the video, please leave a comment/feedback letting me know.

Looks interesting, though I had no idea one can become a Professional Paintballer.
ReplyDeleteWill look out for the PSN release.
It amazes me, given how popular FPSers are, that there's precious few quality paintball games.
ReplyDeleteI'd much rather a good paintball game - more "sport" than FPSer.
@Keith:
ReplyDeleteThe PSN release will be releasing soon. See ya online in it!
@GamesAndBiz:
Yea, paintball is something that isn't just played in one area of the world, so I would think a game like this, if they keep doing it on a steady basis, could get a good following around the world.
Thanks for the comments!
Excellent in-depth review. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI will not lie... I wasn't expecting much content from Greg Hasting's Paintball 2, which is why I am surprised to see how much customization there actually is!
ReplyDeleteHaving had zero interest in this game before your video review (as I figured that if I wanted to play Paintball, I would go outside and do so), I want you to know that I would consider playing Greg Hastings Paintball now that I saw what you made.
Good review! Thanks for the details!

ReplyDeleteNot a problem, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

"...I wasn't expecting much content from Greg Hasting's Paintball 2..."
Same here! I really wasn't sure what to expect from it, but definitely not the amount of content the game had. Then after starting it, I started seeing "reviews" pop up for it, that basically trashed the game...
After contacting some of the reviewers, and simply asking them, "Did you finish 'Career' mode before doing the review..." and receiving NO replies on it; that basically told me they weren't even giving the game a chance...
As for the "I would go outside and do so...", the game now costs what you would easily pay for a day of paintball...so, it's a pretty good deal I think.
I probably should have mentioned this in the video, and/or the INTERVIEW, but I used to play paintball pretty heavily with friends about 10 years ago and enjoyed it.
Thanks for the comments! If anybody has any "constructive criticism" on the video, I'm more than willing to hear it as well.
