Thoughts
I have not played either WWE '09 or WWE '10, or the new WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 that just released. I think the game-play hours reported for both games are really good though, especially the average hours per person reported play-time data.
I think it's going to be interesting to see if WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 debuts quickly on the Nintendo Channel with game-play hours reported, and how high it's average goes in the next 6 months.
Questions
Have any of you played any of the WWE Smackdown vs Raw games? If so, which game(s) have you played, and what did you think about it? If you owned the Wii versions, do you know if your average hours reported were close to what is shown in the data above?
If anybody is interested in WWE '09, WWE '10, or the new WWE '11 games, you can see prices for them on Amazon.com linked below:
At first blush it looks like '10 must be a far superior game because of the much higher avg time played.
ReplyDeleteHowever, only half the amount of people have '10 which is almost certainly the more enthusiast crowd, which would naturally play longer.
The more casual players were probably happy with '09 and never bothered to get '10. Their occasional playing nature brings down the average for '09.
But I'd be interested to know if '10 really was that much better than '09 and why.

ReplyDelete@Anonymous from October 30, 2010:
ReplyDeleteYea, most games that are released first on the Wii, have higher game-play averages, than their sequels(can't think of one sequel with a higher reported play-time right now).
I think it will be interesting to watch the average play-time on WWE '11, because I think it's the first wrestling Wii game with online play...I could be mistaken though.
