Questions/Answers:
CwG Question: "How long have you been in the States?"
Ironbeard: "Hard t' tell. When I'm not in either Moga Village of me hometown of Rockrack, I travel on me boat from place t' another, huntin' monsters and promotin' great games. But I canna tell how long I've been anywhere, as me watch only goes up t' 50 minutes."
CwG: "Will there be a midnight release for Monster Hunter 3 in the States?"
Ironbeard: "No midnight release, but there are plans fer *somethin*. They'll be talkin' more about that later..."
A huge thanks to Ironbeard McCullough for his replies! Monster Hunter 3 will be releasing in a few more weeks, on Tuesday, April 20.
Question:
What do you think the "somethin" is, that Ironbeard said they are planning for in conjunction with the game's release?
If you're interested in Monster Hunter 3, Amazon.com has the "Standard" game and the "Classic Controller Pro Bundle". Amazon.com is also offering a "$10 Video Games Credit", which is $10 off a future video game purchase.
Also, Amazon.com is offering "Release-Date Delivery" for Monster Hunter 3. If you're interested, you can see the two bundles with prices right below:
I would guess a big Nintendo World Store relesae in NYC.
ReplyDeleteThe Amazon Pre-order gives you $10 off another game purchase after delivery? Perhaps I can get this and Red Steel afterall...
ReplyDeleteI pre-ordered SMG2 since Amazon has a $20 credit for that.
ReplyDelete@delawaregamer:
ReplyDeleteI think the "somethin" may end up being Capcom teaming up with a store, and having a "costume contest" for the game.
Also, the $20 credit on SMG2 is a great deal on Amazon.com. It really helped SMG2 jump way up the list, it was sitting at #1 for at least a day.
Back on MH3 though, imagine a Nintendo World Store release, but with a costume contest or something. Capcom did a big event at the Nintendo World Store for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and I think they're going to push Monster Hunter 3 even bigger.
@Chuckpebble:
Yea, the $10 code is sent after the game ships, so that would make Red Steel 2 either $46.99 or $36.99, depending if you have a WM+.
Thank you both for the comments!
T' isn't a midnight release because we ain't got T' proper lightin' T' support it!
ReplyDelete@keith:
ReplyDeleteYea, I guess people showing up with torches could be a problem!
