Nintendo Channel Data Breakdown
Number of Players Reporting Data:
Wii Sports Resort, released in July of this year, has 295,054 players reporting data so far.
Wii Fit Plus, released in October, has 127,552 players reporting data on the Nintendo Channel.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii, released on November 15, now has 256,287 players reporting data.
Player Increase:
Wii Sports Resort had an increase of 12,824 more players reporting data this week, than last week.
Wii Fit Plus had 9,264 more players reporting data this week on the Nintendo Channel.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii had 20,182 more players reporting data this week.
"Total" Game-Play Hours Reported/Increased:
Wii Sports Resort had 5,779,249 Total Hours reported, an increase of 336,701 hours from last week.
Wii Fit Plus had 1,537,487 Total Hours reported, an increase of 188,069 hours from last week.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii had 4,970,555 Total Hours reported, an increase of 638,999 hours from last week.
Amazon.com Sales Rank:
Wii Fit Plus' Amazon.com sale rank was #22(game with board) and #17 for just the software. The current selling price for Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board is $184.17, and the selling price for just the software is $19.96.
GameRankings.com Review Score Averages:
The GameRankings.com review score average have stayed the same as last week, for all the games.
Wii Sports Resort's average review score is 82.78%.
Wii Fit Plus' average review score is 81.32%
New Super Mario Bros. Wii's average review score is 87.95%.
Thoughts and Questions:
Five weeks and counting, Amazon.com is still out-of-stock of Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board. If you didn't see it above, Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board is available from 2nd/3rd party vendors on Amazon.com. Currently, the starting price for Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board is $184.17 new, or around $165.00 for it used!
Again, those prices are from 2nd/3rd party vendors on Amazon.com, but I would imagine they are selling a few units at those prices, why else would they have them so high?
