The following is an email I received from Amazon.com, advertising Wii games and a few Wii accessories.
I've provided links directly to the games and accessories, directly beneath each split section of the email advertisement.
Take a look at what made it into the email!

I was glad to see 3rd Party games, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and No More Heroes 2, having a place in the email advertisement. Hopefully placements and advertisements like these will raise awareness of these games on the Wii. Do you plan on buying, or have you already purchased, any of the games or accessories seen in the Amazon.com email?
Both Endless Ocean 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom have me interested, though I doubt I'll be able to afford them with all the other great games I still need to buy.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, I pre-ordered No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle quite some time ago and am really stoked to finally get it (my Amazon email said it should come the 28th).
I am seriously interested in NMH2, and I am starting to wonder if Tatsunoko vs Capcom should rise up on my list. I have never really been into fighting games before, but this one looks really awesome.
ReplyDeleteProblem is I am still going through SMG and Muramasa right now. NMH2 is still high on my list as is RS2 coming in March. Also, I want to play the last three episodes of both Strong Bad and Tales of Monkey Island.....oh, and I also just downloaded A Link to the Past. TVC looks very, very cool. I just don't know when I could get around to it.
@Kyle:
ReplyDeleteEndless Ocean 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom are games I'm interested in as well. I never played the first Endless Ocean, but was always interested in it because of the exploration elements in the game.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom has me interested, because I used to really enjoy fighting games, but I haven't purchased one since Tekken Tag on the PS2(maybe Tekken 4 also). The over-the-top crazy videos I've seen of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom have me interested.
@Kyle in DE:
Red Steel 2 is looking really good. I hope that Wii Motion Plus is implemented well in the game, and shows its capabilities for future FPS/Sword Fighting type games(Star Wars Please!!)
I'm actually not interested in NMH2. The first one didn't interest me from what I knew of it, and neither does this one.
What do you think of SMG and Muramasa so far from what you've played?
Thanks to both of you for the comments!
@coffeewithgames
ReplyDeleteI am loving both games.
Super Mario Galaxy - This is the best 3D Platformer game I have ever played. First off the setting allows them the freedom to do any crazy thing they want and have it not seem too out of place. Also, I really like how quick and easy it is to get around to different levels. It doesn't have a big overworld to continuously traverse, just some well marked entrences to different levels.
Muramasa - This game is really amazing and a hidden gem in my opinion. First, it looks as good as any game I have seen, and it plays very well. It is a nice sidescroller in an almost Metroid like fashion. With combat almost taken from a fighting game stringing combos and moves together. Very Japanese, but very cool.
I would recommend the first No More Heroes at least as a rental. It is a lot of fun and is cool how over the top everything is. It has quite a few flaws, but I thougth the good far outweighed the bad.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the response!
I've played SMG, it's still in my collection.
As for Muramasa, the art style of the game is definitely interesting. I need to create a "rent list" of games I want to play.
